Lateral Rib Breathing - Assisted
2 Sets / 10 Reps

Sit in a chair

Relax your neck and shoulders

An assistant should place one hand on either side of the chest

Breathe in slowly through the nose, expanding the chest

The assistant should feel the ribs move out to the side as you breathe in

Breath out in a relaxed manner
Diaphragmatic Breathing
2 Sets/ 10 Reps

Lie on your back with your legs bent
-
Arms are resting by your sides and hands are on the upper part of your stomach

Breathe in slowly through the nose and breathe out slowly through the mouth

While breathing in the hands on the stomach rise and when breathing out the hands go down
Blowing Bubbles
2 Sets/ 10 Reps

Blowing different sized bubbles can help to teach good breathing control.

Try blowing slow, long breathes to make big bubbles

Try blowing faster breathes for smaller bubbles
